Family Fun Day Raises Over £1000 For Local Charities
Quantum Pharmaceutical held its annual Family Fun Day at Newcastle Falcons Rugby club earlier this year for staff and their families, raising more than £1,200 for local good causes.
The Quantum Pharmaceutical Group employs more than 250 people at its Burnopfield site, and many of them turned up to enjoy the sunshine whilst raising money for some fantastic charities.
“We couldn’t have asked for better weather for this year’s Family Fun Day; and it was fantastic to see everyone out in the glorious sunshine. There was no end of activities to keep kids (and big kids) amused, everything from bouncy castles to assault courses and an inflatable tug of war. Adrenaline junkies enjoyed the ‘Bungee Run’, and the face painting stall was a big success, with painted pandas, lions and little spidermen as far as the eye could see!” Explains Charlotte Brown, PA to the Quantum directorate.
Big hearted staff and family members raised over £1,200 which is to be split between three North East charities; The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, Down’s Syndrome North East and St. Oswald’s Hospice.
On behalf of all at Quantum Pharmaceutical in Burnopfield, a massive thank you to those who attended the Fun Day and helped raise this fantastic amount for three excellent causes.
